Turmeric is traditionally used to help relieve flatulent dyspepsia (carminative) and is an anti-inflammatory to help relieve joint pain. Licorice is traditionally used to help relieve inflammatory conditions of the gastrointestinal tract, such as gastritis in adults.Directions: 4 capsules 2 times per day or as directed by a health care practitioner. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 2 weeks.Caution: Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have diabetes, gallstones or a bile duct obstruction, stomach ulcers or excess stomach acid, a liver disorder, or if you are taking blood thinners or digoxin, or antidepressant medications. Some people may experience insomnia, anxiety, or headaches, in which case discontinue use. Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if you experience sweating, paleness, chills, headache, dizziness and/or confusion (as these may be symptoms of serious low blood sugar). Do not use if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance, if you have hypokalemia, high blood pressure, or a kidney or cardiovascular disorder, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.
