Large Art Nouveau Oak Sideboard

DescriptionCirca 1890. A classic large oak Art Nouveau sideboard, the raised shaped back incorporating a shelf supported on brackets with an oval panel in the center, the solid top with a simple fore-edge with a full length drawer with a cast brass proud heart shaped escutcheon and two brass handles with embossed back plate and D shaped handle, flanked by a pair of cupboards with similar escutcheon and elongated handles,  beneath the center drawer there is a shaped frieze, the sideboard rests on four turned tapering legs braced by large rectangular stretchers.Dimensions:97cm High to top edge, 144cm High to top of back, 198cm Long, 65cm DeepPeriod 1890-1910: Art NouveauCategory Sideboards & Chiffoniers
